You start the 10 km tour in Oberschwarzenberg at the last car park before the border to Germany. Now you walk 2.2 km steeply uphill to the border triangle between Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic. Once you reach the ridge, hike along the border trail until you reach the Dreisesselberg shelter. After about 300 m of ascent, you reach the Dreisesselberg inn.
