Zirmbachalm – Kreuzjoch

From the Zirmbachalm, follow trail AV 153 to just beyond the Wasserschloss, a culvert for the Klammbach stream, whose waters are fed into the Längental reservoir. From here, trail AV 152 becomes a well-marked path that climbs gently but steadily uphill across alpine meadows. Halfway along, the path branches off to the Rietzer Grieskogel; keep left at this junction.
