Wege und Talayots bei Maó

Long loop near the capital - silence and unspoilt nature This varied and extremely rewarding circular hike takes us directly from the center of Maó along roads, dirt tracks and traditional paths to many interesting reminders of prehistory. Although we are only a short distance from the capital and close to the airport, the tour is surprisingly quiet and offers beautiful insights into the extensive agriculture of Menorca. The five archaeological sites along the way are excellent examples of the Talayotic and early Christian way of life. And the Camí empedrat de sa Font d"en Simó is one of the most beautiful traditional paths on the island.
