The 18 km long walk around the lake takes you to bathing spots, playgrounds and a nature reserve. At the shore, you can enjoy lovely nature and beautiful views during any season of the year.
As a result of the renaturation of an open-cast mining near the southern city limit of Görlitz a paradise for water lovers was created in the last decade.
