W8a: Postbotenweg Alternativ

Alternative W8a: The shortcut takes us along the right side of the forest to the so-called "Angerereck" with a rest area. Here you have the most beautiful view of the medieval town on our hike. We continue walking along the edge of the forest, past a small bunker, then left down into an abandoned quarry with a sparse deciduous forest. Postmen and churchgoers also used this route to Detwang.
