A popular ridge hike with numerous variations: The ridge hike across the Cumbre de Bolico – the weather divide between the humid north and the dry south – is one of the most beautiful and popular tours in the Teno Mountains. It's an easy hike, offers magnificent views, and in winter you can admire countless Canary Island bellflowers. Finally, cozy places to stop for refreshments await you at Cruz de Hilda and in Masca. It's just a shame that you have to take the bus back from Masca to Santiago del Teide.
Starting point: Crossroads near the church in the center of Santiago del Teide, 930 m (bus stop for lines 325, 355, 460–462). End point: Masca, 620 m (bus stop for lines 355, 365). Requirements: Easy hike on mostly good, comfortable trails. Note: Important!
