Extreme ferrata above the Pordoi Pass The Via ferrata Piazzetta is considered to be the most technically difficult climb in the Sella, which traverses the southern rock face to Piz Boè from the ring band. Although not yet an "oldie" at 30 years old, the route has long been a classic for hardcore ferratisti. Less experienced climbers can, of course, bite their teeth out on the vertical, low-step access wall. The feat of strength has a few more sections of similar caliber in store before the terrain mercifully subsides towards the summit. On the Piz Boè, you then enter a designated high alpine fairground - but the view is definitely worth it.
Starting point: Parking lot (approx. 2200 m) at the "Ossario del Pordoi" war memorial; narrow access road from Passo Pordoi to the east.Requirements: Character: Not particularly long, but absolutely demanding via ferrata with very difficult individual sections. The lower half in particular is persistently demanding and exposed, apart from a few ledges.
