Unterhaching – Hinterbrühl
Through Perlacher Forst to the Isar If you are looking for an easy, beautiful and not too long hike close to the city, you will find what you are looking for in both Perlacher Forst and the Isar valley, both of which are among the most popular leisure areas in Munich. The tour from Unterhaching to Hinterbrühl combines the advantages of both and offers relaxing forest paths as well as riverside walks in a particularly diverse section of the Isar valley, where five streams run side by side at Maria Einsiedel: Maria-Einsiedel-Bach, Ländkanal, Werkkanal, Isar and Auer Mühlbach. Other sights include the Perlacher Muggl with its mountain panorama, which was only filled in with the excavation of the McGraw ditch in 1970, the rock faces on the high banks of the Isar and the rafts from Wolfratshausen arriving at the Ländkanal in the afternoon.
Starting point: Unterhaching station (S 3), 557 m.End point: Hinterbrühl (bus stop), 529 m.Requirements: Mainly wide forest paths, otherwise asphalt.
