The Parapluiberg and the cave dwelling are two highlights of this hiking trail. The circular trail, which is characterized by scenic beauty, leads past vineyards in the Traisental wine region, along the edge of the forest, through a cellar lane, and through lovely villages with playgrounds back to the starting point. Benches and tables for resting are available on the Parapluiberg and at the cave dwelling.
Starting from Nußdorf, the path leads uphill through vineyards and orchards to the lookout point on the Parapluiberg and then on to the cave dwelling. From both locations you have a wonderful view of the Weinland-Traisental valley, the foothills of the Alps or the Danube valley and Tullnerfeld. The return journey takes you through Kellegasse and Reichersdorf to Franzhausen and back to Nußdorf.
