Trogehorn, 1973 m
On the western pillar of the Hohgant massifAs the westernmost peak of the Hohgant massif, the Trogehorn is significantly less frequented than the highest peaks around Hohgant and Furggegütsch in the east. However, this does not really mean a loss in terms of the fantastic view of the Bernese High Alps. On a clear day, the panorama of the northern Swiss Alps is outstanding. From the Titlis to the Uri Alps and the entire Bernese High Alps to the Diablerets in the west, hardly anything remains hidden - even Mont Blanc makes its appearance in the round of summits with an unobstructed view. The rewarding loop over the Trogehorn is certainly one of the most beautiful hikes in the Eriz region, although surefootedness is required in the Trogehorn area.
Starting point: and end point: Innereriz-Säge, 1040 m; bus from Thun to the terminus.Requirements: Marked paths throughout; the summit area and the east ridge of the Trogehorn are a little exposed and require surefootedness. T3.Refreshments: (and accommodation) In Innereriz: Gasthof Schneehas, +4133 453 06 05.
