Steinberg Skitourenstrecke

Moderate standard beginner ski tour (approx. 1000 vertical metres, 2.5 hours) with some more challenging sections by the Steinbergbahn Piste in Leogang. Start is at the Steinbergbahn bottom lift station, finish is at the Asitzbahn top lift station, with refreshment possibilities. Descent is on prepared pistes. Free parking and use of the route. Donations are invited for a local social project (donation box at the Steinbergbahn lift station).

The route from the Steinbergbahn bottom lift station (812 m) mainly follows secured pistes up to the Asitzbahn top lift station (1759 m); height difference: 947 vertical metres. Difficulty: moderate Ascent From the Steinbergbahn car park, head up towards the Kraller Alm on the right-hand side of the piste to start with.
