A secluded monastery and a lovely forest gorgeThe hike leads to the secluded, beautifully situated chapel of St-Probace. The path through the Caramy gorge, which has an almost primeval forest-like atmosphere due to its lush vegetation, is particularly charming.
Starting point: Pont Romain (Roman bridge), 275 m. From St-Maximin-la-Ste-Baume on the N 7 southeast to Tourves. We cross the center and at the eastern end take the Av. Gaou (narrow, numerous concrete sleepers), which branches off at an acute angle to the right, along a small stream almost parallel to the N 7.
