Söldener Grieskogel, 2911 m

A popular summit destination in the Polleskamm: The Sölden ski area may not exude the ultimate charm in summer, but those who venture a little off the beaten track and climb the Grieskogel will find a relatively short but exhilarating tour. The entertaining scrambling section on secured rock and the stunning panorama are particular highlights. The view stretches back and forth between the Geigenkamm and the Stubai Alps. Reaching a summit of this height usually requires considerably more effort. However, the tour should not be underestimated.
Starting point: Hochsölden, 2083 m, accessible via a mountain road from Sölden (also by bus shuttle from the beginning of July to the beginning of September). Alternatively, take the Giggijochbahn cable car, 2284 m, from the end of June to mid-September. Requirements: T3–4.
