Lasserbauer ascent to the forest road crossing - along the forest road to the Bergalmen junction - Sattelhöhe - Schmittenstein (ÖAV route 840)
From Lasserbauer, follow the forest road, then don't miss the turnoff towards Beralmen. Once you reach the saddle, continue on to the Schmittenstein. The landmark and highest mountain in Krispl-Gaissau.
You can see these two prominent stone peaks from the city of Salzburg. And the view up there is breathtaking.
