The hiking route leads from Rastenfeld to Purzelkamp to Rastenberg, then on to Marbach im Felde via Mottingeramt in the forest and back to Rastenfeld.
Sheep pasture dispute 1834 to 1839: The lords of Rastenberg set up large sheep pastures in order to increase their profits. Due to outdated rights, the sheep were allowed to graze on the cultivated fields and fallow fields of the farmers from Marbach and Sperkentahl.
