From the Hochjochhospiz to the Martin-Busch-Hütte The connection from the rear Rofental valley over the Kreuzkamm ridge into the Niedertal valley leads over the Saykogel (Seikogel), a landmark over 3,300 meters high in the middle of extensive glacier fields. Nevertheless, hikers with alpine experience can also take advantage of this route, as the entire crossing is ice-free in ideal conditions. In other words, this is a mountain where you can get up close to the glaciers without having to set foot on them yourself. The total walking time from Vent is around 10 hours.
