Saußbachklamm, Gartenschau-Rundweg

Nature in Waldkirchen: upwards, skywards ... and everything conjures you upwards This was the motto of the small state garden show 2007 in Waldkirchen. We start our hike in the Saußbachklamm nature reserve. Here, the water rushes over countless rocks and past large boulders through a lush green forest gorge. We discover the Haller Alm, idyllically hidden in the forest, which invites us to take our first break. Then we have to make a decision: Do we climb upwards, skywards to the colorful garden show circular trail, which delights children and adults alike with its enchanted forest, climbing garden, glass art and fashion gardens, or do we continue on a more leisurely path to the spa gardens, where we can walk around the Erlauzwiesel reservoir, cross a wetland biotope on a wooden footbridge or stop off at the restaurant by the lake.
