Saurüsselkopf, 1270 m

Ascent to a lookout pointA quiet tour just a few meters off the busy German Alpine Road. It was not possible to find out how the Saurüsselkopf got its catchy name, but it goes without saying that it has a remarkable shape. Like a valley guardian, it rises above the wooded Fischbach valley. We enjoy the solitude up there as well as the magnificent view from the summit of the Ruhpolding valley and the surrounding Chiemgau mountains.
