Beautifully laid out forest trail with little ascent - leads past the wonderfully situated mountain pilgrimage church Kalte Herberge in Schmirn.
From the Muchnersiedlung car park, first cross the small settlement area and walk uphill along the forest path into the valley. After about an hour"s walk, you leave the forest and hike about 300m through the "Holzeben"woodland area. Afterwards, the trail continues in the forest again with a slight incline to the "Kalte Herberge"pilgrimage church, which is located in an idyllic clearing.
