Time-honored touring base in the Langental valleyWith the irresistible lure of a Wild Freiger, the Nürnberger Hütte was built 125 years ago above the Langental valley - as an alpine base camp primarily geared towards this showpiece mountain. After several expansions, the Franconian metropolis has a stately, multi-storey representative building, which is also stylishly adapted in the interior and today has several seals of approval from the Alpine Association (for environmental and child friendliness as well as the motto "This is how the mountains taste"). Day hikers also like to come here after an ascent via the Bsuchalm to enjoy a snack on the sun terrace against the backdrop of the Wetterspitzen and Feuersteine. However, the famous Freiger is hidden behind the upswings of the terrain.
