The anniversary trail was established in 1998 for the 25th anniversary of the Lake Constance district. The aim was to create a route away from the well-known routes directly by the lake and to open up new perspectives that would allow visitors to experience the diversity of the landscape in the Lake Constance region. Each stage starts and ends in a village with connections to public transport and overnight accommodation. So you can decide for yourself where you want to continue hiking the next day or where you want to take a short cut.
