A forest path with a surprise: We ascend gently through tall mixed forest. Suddenly, the path becomes steep, and we're already at the summit with its panoramic views. The ratio of effort to panorama is excellent here as well; slightly less of a view than from Cima Vezzena (see the tour "Cima Vezzena (1908 m)"), but even less effort. Alcide De Gasperi was born in Pieve Tesino.
Starting point: Picnic area "Le Buse" (1197 m) in the forest above Località Monte Mezza, Cinte Tesino. By car: From Pieve Tesino to Cinte Tesino. Immediately at the Cinte town sign, turn sharply right uphill towards Loc. Monte Mezza (signposted). At the junction shortly after the information board, turn right (signposted, among others, "M. Mezza Alto").
