Monte Lema – Fattoria Roccolo

Varied circular route with many "rest stops "Our tour leads to one of the most beautiful viewpoints over Lake Maggiore, the Alpe Pradecolo below the summit of M. Lema. Antonio Campiglio, a Milanese engineer, "loved this place, the paths, forests and meadows more than himself", so much so that he built a mountain hotel here, high above the valley. His sons have erected a wooden plaque in his memory. Charming little mountain inns invite you to take a break on the hike.
