Monte Lema – Fattoria Roccolo

A varied circular route with many rest stops. Our tour leads to one of the most beautiful viewpoints overlooking Lake Maggiore, Alpe Pradecolo below the summit of Monte Lema. Antonio Campiglio, a Milanese engineer, "loved this place, the paths, woods, and meadows more than himself," so he built a mountain hotel here, high above the valley. His sons erected a wooden plaque in his memory. Along the hike, charming little mountain inns invite you to take a break.
