The ascent to the Nuragic settlement: Surrounded by high rock faces and far removed from main roads, the Lainattu Valley offers many sights: the Cendrino River at the valley entrance, which emerges from the rock at the Sorgente de su Cologne; the Nuragic settlement of Sa Seda 'e sos Carros with its sacred water shrine; and the Grotta de sa Oche at the very end of the valley. The path into the valley is arduous, but the effort is worthwhile for visiting the sights and the ascent to the Tiscali area.
Starting point: Parking bay at the Buddurai trail marker, in the Lainattu Valley, 140 m. Take the SS 129 from Orosei towards Nuoro, turn off towards Oliena and at the beginning of the village turn left onto the SP 46. After approximately 4,5 km, turn right towards Hotel Su Cologne, Grotta sa Oche and Sorgente su Cologne. After approximately 2,5 km, the road ends at the parking area at Sorgente de su Cologne.
