Experience the Lienz Dolomites landscape conservation areaAnyone who looks into the 33-metre deep, shaft-like rocky gorge at Klammbrückl and observes the endless play of the wild water will understand why this area was declared a natural monument in 1986. Also worth a visit is the Klapffall in the valley with the via ferrata "Hidden World" for experienced climbers. Past there, the trail leads over a rocky valley step to the tree-shaded high pasture to the Kerschbaumeralm refuge.
Starting point: Valley villages / starting point: Leisach, 710 m, and Amlach, 687 m, 2.5 km and 2 km south of the town center of Lienz.Klammbrückl, 1096 m, parking lot, in the Kerschbaumeralm nature reserve.
