Kehlsteinhaus, 1837 m
To the former D-House "Adlerhorst": The Kehlstein is a mountain steeped in history. This ridge, jutting out from the Hoher Göll, offers not only a magnificent view due to its location, but also a fascinating history. Hitler's former teahouse, also known as the D-House or "Adlerhorst," is located on the summit. The Obersalzbergbahn funicular railway is a convenient way for hikers to reach the top.
Starting point: Berchtesgaden, 573 m, valley station of the Obersalzbergbahn (summer toboggan run) or Ofnerboden on the Roßfeldstraße (access to Obersalzberg; toll road).
