Steep grassy mountain with a huge panorama The tour from Rauris to the Bernkogel is one of the more challenging hikes in this guide. On a clear day, a huge panorama at the summit makes up for the effort of the ascent. The leisurely version of this tour ends at the Karalm (also suitable for children), which can also be reached by local cab. You should already be in good physical condition for the Bernkogel tour. The summit can also be climbed from Embach (Salzachtal) or Unterberg (Gasteinertal) with the same level of difficulty.
