From the starting point, the path leads to the Raxendorf water reservoir, the first stop, which offers a view of the Dead Man. Continue to Afterbach, the second stop, the Duke's hiding place. An information point at the village community center tells the legend of the "Duke in the Manure Truck". From there, head northwest to a shrine at 810 m above sea level (Bildföhre).
