Border crossing with a view The Gufferthütte is a popular destination for cyclists and hikers alike. If you combine a visit to the hut with a short detour via the Schönleitenalm and the Bayerische Wildalm, the result is a very varied tour. If you want to go even higher, you can head straight for the Halserspitz.
Starting point: Köglboden hiking parking lot, 963 m; access from Achenkirch (bus stop).Requirements: Overall easy mountain hike, mainly sandy road, marked path between Schönleitenalm and Gufferthütte.
