From Füssener Jöchl to Bad Kissinger Hütte This varied high-altitude hike in the northern part of the Tannheim mountains is popular with many hikers. You hike at altitudes between 1600 and 1900 m and always have a clear view to the southwest. The first stopover, the western shoulder of the Sefenspitze, turns out to be a particularly beautiful vantage point. From there, the main peaks of the Tannheim mountains, the Gimpel, 2176 m, the Köllenspitze, 2238 m, and the Gehrenspitze, 2164 m, present themselves majestically. After the shoulder, you then cross picturesque ground with boulders, small meadow patches and a mini karst basin. Finally you reach the destination of the tour, the Bad Kissinger Hütte, partly in the forest. If you are in good shape, you can climb the Aggenstein from there.
Starting point: Grän, 1138 m, Füssener Jöchlebahn. By car: Grän is located three kilometers east of Tannheim, the Jöchlebahn valley station is a little above/east of the village, direct access from the bypass (Navi: A-6673 Grän-Haldensee, Füssener Jöchle Straße).
