Geigelstein, 1808 m

To the renowned mountain of the Chiemgau: None of the Chiemgau mountain peaks reach a height of over 2000 m, and yet they have nothing to be ashamed of. A pyramidal summit like the Geigelstein piques our curiosity even without its superlative height. On its summit, besides the cross, there is also a small chapel. The Geigelstein is famous for its abundance of wildflowers, which is why this charming spot has long been a nature reserve.
