Scenic ridge trail along the highlights of the Lower Wiesenttal valleyThe Heinrich Uhl Trail is a scenic ridge trail from Aufseß along the Leinleiter and Wiesenttal valleys to Behringersmühle. Along the section of the trail described here, the highlights of the Lower Wiesenttal are strung together like pearls on a necklace: the many viewpoints high above the valley, the rock-framed Streitberg with the Bing Cave, the romantic sight of the Neideck castle ruins opposite, the mighty rocks of the Wiesentriff, the Oswald Cave, through which our hiking trail leads, the Quacken Castle and, and, and. Last but not least, if you take the historic museum train back through the valley to the starting point, you will certainly have seen the most beautiful side of this part of the Wiesental.
