E5 Kaunergrat variant: Piller – Verpeilhütte

This long and challenging stage takes you from Piller towards Fuchsmoos and on to the hamlet of Lachwies. Just before the houses, a narrow path branches off to the left and, crossing several forest roads, leads you to the Aifner Alm after about 2,5 hours. From there, you hike southwards along the panoramic trail with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
