A truly spectacular sight on a calm day is the Mittersee, with its reflection of the Dachstein's three peaks (from left: Torstein, Mitterspitz, Hoher Dachstein).
Starting point: Valley towns: Pichl, 799 m, Gleiming, 782 m. Starting point: Reiteralm, 1710 m. Access via toll road from Pichl (13 km) or with Preunegg Jet (Tues., Fri. in summer). Difficulty: From Reiteralm to Gasselhöhe or to Untersee easy ("blue").
