All-round panorama on the highest peak of Lessinia At 1865 meters, Cima Trappola lies on the north-eastern edge of Lessinia. Here, the Val Ronchi and Val d"Illasi valleys have eaten deep into each other. The spectacular view of the Carega group and the Tre Croci chain is the reward for the steep ascent. To the south, we can see far into the Po Valley and, on clear days, as far as the Apennines. The ski village of San Giorgio, our starting point, offers concrete architecture from the 1970s.
Starting point: San Giorgio ski village; parking lot at the lower end of the village (1505 m), directly below the Albergo Valon and a small drag lift valley station.Access by car: leave Bosco Chiesanuova in the direction of Erbezzo, then follow the signs for San Giorgio; continue north on the SP6. Pass a few houses in the Villaggio San Giorgio.
