Great views for little effort "Paradis" is the name of a ridge directly opposite the great peaks of the Bernina Alps. The close-up views of Piz Bernina and Piz Palü and the view of the wildly torn glaciers are correspondingly impressive. You don"t get all this after a strenuous long ascent, but after a short hike and, if you wish, a leisurely stop for refreshments from the terrace of the Chamanna Paradis. An ideal mountain hike if you are traveling with children. However, we are not allowed to leave the paths, as we are hiking in the Bernina-Albris hunting ban area.
Starting point: Valley village / Starting point: Pontresina, 1805 m. Rhaetian Railway stop, bus stop. Valley station of the Alp Languard chairlift, 1840 m. Limited parking facilities (subject to charge).
