The tour for summit collectors This panoramic hike leads over the ridge between Notkarspitze and Kramerspitz. With Brünstelskopf, Grosser Zunderkopf, Vorderer Felderkopf and Felderkopf, there are four peaks to climb before returning to Farchant via the Enning-Alm. This part of the Ammergebirge is less developed and has been designated a nature reserve as well as an FFH and bird sanctuary. Numerous rare plant and animal species can be found in the mountain forests and rocky summit areas. The hillside ravine forests with their thermophilic vegetation are significant. These habitats are also home to a number of relict plants that had their main distribution in warmer or colder periods of the Earth"s recent history, but can still survive in a niche here in the Ammergebirge. This mountain region also offers valuable habitats for birds, such as the peregrine falcon, eagle owl and various species of woodpecker.
Starting point: Farchant cemetery parking lot (671 m) (Navi: 82490 Farchant, Brünstlkopfweg), or Farchant train station, from here follow the hiking trail signs through the village and get on at waypoint 2. Requirements: You need to be in good physical condition for the upper part of the ascent to the Brünstlkreuz with some steep and narrow paths.
