Bäckersteig

The parish church, dedicated to Saint Pancras, was built from a castle chapel. When the place was first mentioned in a document (1133/38), the more intensive settlement of the place seems to have begun. Since there was no room for further development on the church hill, the settlement began to develop along the creek depression.
