A must-do hike during almond blossom season: The "Ruta del Almendro en Flor" hiking trail, as its name suggests, is one of the most beautiful trails on the island during almond blossom season (January/February). Outside of this time, the hike is not quite as recommended, even though the varied trail offers scenic views between almond trees and volcanic streams.
Starting point: Museum Centro Alfarero in Arguayo, 915 m (bus stop for lines 461 and 462). End point: Santiago del Teide, 930 m (bus stop for lines 325, 355, 460–462).
