Solitary mountain hike in the Val Calanca There are some unusual things to see on this hike. Children will be delighted right from the start by the mini cable car, which takes us from Selma to Landarenca fully automatically and around the clock. At the valley station, we notice the charming baroque chapel of San Rocco. The hamlet of Landarenca consists of an impressive number of old houses clustered around the little church - well worth seeing! The hike itself leads along a circular route via the alpine huts of Boliv (just before an exciting rocky outcrop) to the Alp di Rossiglion and back to the starting point via the Alp Cant. A tour that is also recommended for children - accompanied by parents with mountain experience.
Starting point: cable car valley station in Selma, 914 m. Approach from Grono to Val Calanca and Selma. Bus stop; from the village take the small cable car to Landarenca, 1254 m.Requirements: Partly steep, rocky in one place.
