Lake Garda is a real Eldorado for mountain bikers - hardly any other bike region offers more tours. The lake is known far beyond northern Italy for its countless trails with breathtaking panoramas, and many tours also take place on former military roads and paths with great views. Both beginners and professionals will find the perfect tour here! The most popular places among bikers Riva, Arco and Torbole are located on the northern shore of Lake Garda, but there are a large number of grandiose tours all over the lake.

Of course, the region around Lake Garda can also be explored on foot. In addition to the fantastic views, the contrasts in nature are particularly appealing. In lower regions you can hike through picturesque olive groves, a little higher through holm oak forests and over alpine meadows and, with a little luck, you can even discover edelweiss and gentian on the highest peaks in addition to rugged rock formations. A particularly beautiful tour, for example, takes us from the turquoise-blue Lago di Tenno up to the 1803m high summit of Monte Misone, where an impressive view of the northern end of Lake Garda awaits us.
Via ferratas
Via ferratas
There is also a lot to experience on Lake Garda for fans of exposed rocky paths and climbing on a wire rope. There are many via ferratas of all levels of difficulty, especially on the northern shore of the lake and around Arco. Modern sports via ferratas line up alongside old classic routes that have existed since the First World War. Particularly noteworthy here is Via dell Amicizia, which leads over many and long ladder passages to the Cima SAT. Those who like it sportier and more demanding should take a look at the Mori via ferrata or the Via Ferrata Rino Pisetta. The Via Ferrata Che Guevara, which leads over 1,500 meters in altitude to the summit of Monte Casale, is also suitable for experienced via ferrata climbers who are absolutely fit.
